kingr
The radio went out on my stereo. The CD player works just fine so that makes me beleive it's either some sort of a fuse in the radio or antenna connection problem. Does anyone have ideas on how to figure out the problem? I will also add that I did pull it out and checked the antenna connection. I just don't know how to check if the problem is tha actual antenna on the truck. Jeremy airjer W
If the CD player works than the fuses are fine. The radio has probably failed. Even with the antenna disconnected you should be able to pick up something.

crothmeier
what kind/brand of radio is it? could be a circuitboard problem when you press source its not switching between sources, but when you put a cd in, it automatically plays?

kingr
The unti is a Sony Xplode that is about 8 yrs old. Everyonce in awhile I'll switch it back over and I'll get a station for a bit. To shed some more light on the subject is that it won't pick up the "tuner" connector for my Ipod either. i can hold the transmitter up to the radio and it won't pick up...Thanks for the ideas. I'm gussing another radio is coming soon.
