SledNeck
Flying and dying 2016 Arkansas Hunted Bayou Meto (where our camp is) and the Cache River. Lots of ducks down. I cant even tell you how many thousands of Mallards were had circling over us in the woods every day. Just insanity. fishuhalik, smalliehunter, mrklean and 1 other

SledNeck
There were no races. 2 days on the Cache we were alone at the landing and there were hardly any boats at the landing when we hunted bayou meto
fishuhalik
Looks like an awesome trip Sled. I keep telling myself I gotta get up there some time. Ain't that bad of a trip for me now that I'm in Tejas. Kinda tough to pass up the variety I have down on the coast here though. I'm sure some day I'll make it up that way
SledNeck
We do shoot a variety of everything in the rice fields when all the ducks are down. But there's truely nothing like hunting in the timber with the way they drop in. fishuhalik
fishuhalik
Closest I've come is hunting hot beaver ponds back home. We had a couple that had crazy birds in em, up to a few thousand mallards and woodies. Still not near the numbers they get up there though. And it's pretty hard to beat the color on January birds

fishuhalik
So, a good buddy of mine that I used to work with during my time in Williston just moved back to Arkansas. Jonesboro area. You ever hunt the NE part of the state? He didn't get into duck hunting til I introduced him to it in NoDak, now he's begging me to take him in the timber.
