delcecchi
I have not noticed any birds having problems with black sunflower seeds. I have a platform about 8 inches off the ground that the birds (and the deer) like. I go out in the morning and throw maybe a pint of seed out. The deer clean up the leftovers overnight. Sturg
I've had up to 7 cardinals coming to the feeder right at dusk and dawn. Yesterday when the sun finally returned in the middle of the afternoon, 4 of them(3 M, 1 F) showed up for about 20 minutes.
KrabbyPatties
Looks like you're using a black oil / safflower cardinal mix. Apparently it's working!
