mrjigger
I just purchased a Lowrance 510C. I noticed you can change the background color on the sonar to many different colors. I have an older model Lowrance 20C, but there is not as many background choices on the 20C as the 510C. I typically just use the white background on the 20C.Just wondering if anyone has experimented with different background colors, and if you think you can see more fish when using one color versus another. hhguide
I Use the Night version Green one, when the water is very dirty with the fish showing up Pink I really like that feature. I will also use it at Night alot.
Chode2235
I really like the blue background version, you can see a lot of little things on the bottom that show up in this view. The blue on the white screen just doesnt have enough contrast for me to see those walleyes chilling out on the bottom. PerchJerker
I usually leave mine with the white background, or maybe the blue background.
