Neighbor_guy
It was a good article. I admit I said some fairly poor things about the nightime bowfishing that got threw last year. To see it this close to getting in as a "state wide" (almost) rule change for this year is a good thing. Good job guys.Guess I will have to find someone with lights and try it at night. I am big on daytime shooting, but I am willing to try.

TroutYammer
Great Article...but I have two questions:1. How do you use a bow and arrow to shoor carp through the ice?2. Are Corssbosw legal for carp shooting?

KTapper
Great Article...but I have two questions:1. How do you use a bow and arrow to shoor carp through the ice?2. Are Corssbosw legal for carp shooting? I would assume that it would be like spearing, just cut a big hole. Crossbows are only legal if you have a physical disability. GottaGo
My understanding is it's illegal to use a bow and arrow thru the ice, but you can still find open water (ie in rivers with current or by a warm water discharge) and shoot carp there throughout the winter
carpshooter
it is legal to bowfish rough fish through the ice but you can not posses any spearing equipment with you.
