WingDing2
Why are you putting on dual exhaust? If you do I would save the stock exhaust, its stainless steel and pretty exspensive and quiet.
Tyler23
depends what kind of sound your going for. for a low rumble i would take a look at flowmasters kits. if you want it to cackle and rattle peoples ears out have someone chop the muffler out and run it true dual out the back with nothing but cats. IMO thats what i like so i would have someone i new personally do it. you can make thoughs 5.3's sound pretty good
Macgyver55
If you have a 6.0 I have a buddy that is selling a near new Flowmaster kit.....
Hafnutz
Stock exhaust will last about as long as the truck. Crappy loud duals will start to fall off about the time you get really sick of the noise. To replace the stock system is really $$. I'd leave it alone and spend your money on fishing tackle.
Jeremy airjer W
I agree, just about every custom exhaust we see is hanging, rubbing, rattling, or rusted away. It will only be dual after the cat unless the Y pipe is cut and another cat put in.
Tyler23
if you get it done right it will not rub or rattle anything like that and the newer pipes last quit a long time. IMO will this truck i would just leave it alone that stainless exhaust thats on it now is going to last forever. but if your dead set on it look at a kit or get it professionally done.
