Forum turnover approaching?

Is there a thermocline with the forums here? At what point in the month of March will the number of posters in the open water forums be greater than the ice fishing forum? I envision this just like lake turnover.

Maybe all of us will start feeding more around then? grin

Guys, those hard water die hards are nuts! They'll have the upper hand well into May. I called them on it last June cause there were SO many still posting there. You can't believe the greef I got for even bringing it up.

Me? I'm going with the flow. As long as we got ice, I'll icefish, as soon as we got open water, I'll launch the boat.

Personally I prefer open water over ice fishing, and I think I've figured out why the ice forum is so popular: in summer, people are away from the computer actually fishing; in winter, people are on the computer talking about fishing. Make sense? grin Or it could just be a Minnesota thing!
