has anyone ever used one of these and what is the verdict. good,bad,ugly?

I've not used one, but I wonder about things like weather proof seals around the connection.

Also, once you're set up, you are not able to drive any place (like to get ice!)

They might look sort of neat, but I don't see them being very useful IMO. Get yourself a nice tent.

They look legit but I can't say that I've ever seen one in a campground.

Hubby's grandparents used one on their model T in 1925 while on their honeymoon out to the Black Hills.

I bet they let in the mosquitoes like there's no tomorrow. Can't imagine how they can get a good seal. Just get a good tent.
