Name this Jig

Does anyone know what kind of jig this is and who makes it? I can't find them anywhere. I bought 4 of them about 4 years ago and only have 2 left. I looked through tinseltail.com and did not find them so I don't think it's a tinsel tail.

I actually don't know the name, but I have one that looks exactly like it from cabela's that is a maribou jig. Are you stuck on the tinsel? You could probably make them for fairly cheap.

I was just hoping to find them online or in a store and buy some more. I have found some others that are close, but would still like to find these. Thanks, I looked through the maribou jigs.

where did you buy them at? I know a guy that makes tackle for some bait shops. It could be part of his line.

Pretty similar to the Gypsy made by Northland. Head shape is different though.

I believe I bought them at Fishrman's Corner in Osakis, MN.

I've been back and they don't have them anymore and the guy there seems genuinely disinterested in his customers and fishing. Just my opinion! I used to buy a lot of bait there, but now I stop at Fletcher's Bait in Sauk Center instead, because they are friendly and help with info when they can. Or Fish On Bait in Glennwood when I go to Minnewaska, they are also good to do business with.

I've heard similar sentiments about that shop in osakis. I heard good things about the General Store in Osakis. After stopping in, I was very impressed and experienced great service & bait. Gentleman there helped find a discontnued pattern he thought he might have in the back. Yup, he had a few, and at a fair price. Great gun shop to, if your into that.

Hope you find that jig. I know how it bothers me not having a specific lure / jig that I have confidence in, even though there might be something very close. I think sometimes "the hunt" for a specific lure / jig is as challenging / fun as catching fish with it. GL.

You can buy some tinsel and some jigs and thread and just make your own. Custom AND cheap, what's not to like!

I stopped in to the General Store. It was kind of a cool place. They had jigs that were real close but no red in them so I bought a couple. I went in to get euro larve and was surprised they didn't have them or silver wiglers. They seemed to have everything else.

Since I still needed worms I decided to try Fisherman's Corner. They have a New Owner as of today. I guess the guy I was talking about has been gone for over a year and now it was sold again. They had these jigs. They are made by Lee's Quality Made Fishing Lures. The new owner seemed like a nice guy so I guess he'll get some of my bait business.

Any one know where Lee's is just in case these get scarce again. I couldn't find them on the web or dex. My guess is they are a wholesale only business, but at least the would be able to point a guy to a store.
