Mr. heater cooker noise question

Recommended Posts

I have a new Mr. Heater-Cooker, new 12 ft hose, and also purchased the filter, connected to a 20lb tank. Ran it last night for about 4 hours and it constantly made a hum/shriek like an airplane noise. Any ideas on how I can eliminate this? The unit has only been used twice. The first time was with a 1lb tank and it didn't make that sound until the tank was about empty.

i have the same problem i just use one pounders on it tho, the noise usually goes away after the heater warms up, at least that's the way mine works. the first time i used it i wasn't sure if i should run for the hills or let it make the noise. lol

sounds like everyone has the same problem and no one knows how to keep it from doing it. has anyone found out why it makes the noise or where it comes from? seems like were all just going to have to deal with it like cold_blood said earlier. i love those little heaters tho, even with the noise. smile
