Meth Hole access?

A couple of my sons and I were thinking about hitting the meth hole area this weekend. Is there a trail to there to get a pickup and wheel house out to there? Anyone fish there lately? Thanks for any info you can give me. Last year at the Cool Cats event there I didn't catch anything. I was too busy cooking.

Thanks for the info. We're hoping to hit it from late Saturday to mid-day Sunday. Anyone there, stop over for breakfast brunch. Dtro, we have to communicate on getting set up for the Cool Cats event. I've been getting set up already. Give me a call. I'm in the metro phone book. Robert Pansch, Minnetonka. I work strange hours so leave a message.

Ok,I'll ask....What is the Meth Hole?

The Meth Hole is an area on an East Central Minnesota lake where people fish for Channel cats through the ice. It is called the "Meth Hole" because rising gases keep a small area open during the winter.
