Meth Hole access?

A couple of my sons and I were thinking about hitting the meth hole area this weekend. Is there a trail to there to get a pickup and wheel house out to there? Anyone fish there lately? Thanks for any info you can give me. Last year at the Cool Cats event there I didn't catch anything. I was too busy cooking.

That thing is weird. I seen a guy almost drive into it a few years ago..be careful. Does it get marked now?

It is not marked this year.

They don't mark it as folks seem to be attracted to cones. I know we've seen it multiple times where the cone was nearly run over when someone has marked it.

The Meth Hole is an area on an East Central Minnesota lake where people fish for Channel cats through the ice. It is called the "Meth Hole" because rising gases keep a small area open during the winter.
