What happened to the 4 blade strike master?

224, Sure sounded like a nice auger when it was available, but I too have noticed they discontinued it.

From what I heard they were too expensive and didn't sell well and thus discontinued. I love my 224.

love mine! this is the second season with it and I have had really good luck with it.

299 thats a steal I paid over 500( gifts cards for christmas that year)

The 224 takes one set of 8" power lazer blades and one set of 4" lazer hand auger blades. They are both still available through strikemaster.

When I initially heard they discontinued them I contacted strikemaster to aquire some replacement sets - figured I would need to stock up. I was relieved to hear hat they would be available. I ran my first set for two years, put a new set on before this season began. I am again amazed at how fast the 224 is!

I just checked that popular auction site, and they have new ones available for $350.00 with motor head, and extension, plus shipping.

Just check out |-| & |-| in Maple Lake..or call them. The owner is real nice and im sure he would ship you one. I believe he has them for sale on the Big"E" also

I called Strikemaster and the reason was Sales, people just didnt want to spend the extra money on 2 sets of blades. They said the blades and auger's are available, just no longer selling the whole unit.
