My uncle uses one up on the pond. They are great for going over plowed roads and the cabin makes things a little bit less windy and a little bit more warm.

a downside is that they dont go over the deep snow like a sled would...but they are deffinatly better in it that a wheeler.

Love to have one but they are on the spendy side.

I rented one from bobcat for a job a 5600. That thing was awesome.This one was a little more than your average UTV, it had the same body of a regular UTV but it had a few extras like towing capacity of 4000#, the box could carry 2000# and it had a lift like a regular Bobcat that could lift 1500# and put any attachment on it like Bobcat from a bucket to a snow plow or an auger or whatever. This thing went everywhere in the woods where we were working this winter with the 4 wheel steering that turned on a dime.And it had a nice heated cab.

A couple of draw backs though, it weighed 5000# because it had the same power train as a S185 Bobcat and the other kicker $49000.00 plus it was rather slow at 18mph tops. But it was pretty cool to operate.

I guess I would settle for the nomal 2300 Bobcat series UTV.

i got a yamaha rhino. and i love it for ice fishing! liking having 2 seats for you and a buddy and the bed for everyhting you need! I built a safari rack for the top of my rhino so i can store stuff up there and have more room in the bed. NEXT i have all the metal but not the time for a Flat bed for my rhino with a auger holder and holders for buckets and everything. another thing is haveing a cab and heater!!

only cons really is if you get stuck you are stuck so dont get stuck other than that i love my rhino

how you like the mattracks and the auger holder there??? i am looking at the tatou 4s tracks for my rhino
