Selling Boat - Best way to handle money transfer

Have the buyer send you the cashier's check. Deposit it in your account. Once the check clears, deliver the boat.

Why is cash out of the question. Large bills and a suitcase is all that is required.

Went with the cashiers check and had no problems. Cash was not a feasible option.

Once you get over $10,000 there are strict reporting rules with S.S. numbers etc. You don't want to mess around not following the proper rules there. Some of this falls under the Patriot Act also with large sums of cash.

its probaly not going to upset your customer and shouldnt cost anything or upto as much as $10.00
