Bobby Labonte in the #96 for 2009

Just read on Jayski.com that HOF Racing has made partnership with Yates Racing and will be sponsored by Ask.com next year with Bobby Labonte behind the wheel. I think that Bobby will be better off with Yates equipment this year compared to last years Petty equipment. Good to see he got a decent ride for next year.

Bobby is a great guy. Getting a little older but may still have a few wins left in him.

Figureing in sponsership and manufactureing cutbacks, will he be better with Yates equipment and cutbacks vs. no cutbacks and Petty equipment. I would think less money and Yates has to be better, what do you guys think?-(hopefully I made sense)

I'd just like to see him be competitive again. Kinda nice to hear the name Labonte mentioned in the front runners versus the back of the pack or for car problems. Getting psyched for Daytona, won't be long now!

Labonte is deffinatly in the #96 Ask.Com Yates Ford. He also is guaranteed a starting spot in the top 35 because the #96 of Labonte & the &98 of Menard got last years points from the #28 & 38. Gilliland is out of the #38 and Kvapil is in the #28 on a limited schedule now due to sponsorship.
