Gordie
this year a yellow and red dot spoon has been my best other than that chartuse/red have worked the best for me along with a live decoy
bassNspear
I have had awesome luck with red and white. Seen some fish with orange and yellow, but Bear Creek 10" Red and White has been the best for me!

Homer_P
My Favorite is the Red and White Duey Decoy... I look for the slender one's, as some are really thick. 9 Inch works great.
Pooh
the only deke that has worked for me the last few years (maybe cause i use it the most) is my home made white on blood red. 4 vertical white stripes and a white tail.
bassNspear
sounds cool looking, do you have a photo of it!
Fish Toys
When I did get out all I used were the biggest spoons I could get using a teaser. Seemed like red & white worked the best? Or two smaller spoons fastened together opposite directions. Red & white also.

merkman
BNS I run two lines and the one with spoon is on merks hillbilly spinner, I might try stacking one line next time I went to buy a big spoon tonight but they didn't have any at the store I was at.I ended up getting a red and white spoon, a gold and orange spoon and a perch colored spoon.I am going to link them together (stack them one on top of the other) and run that on the hillbilly spinner this weekend. Gordie
merk I've stacked the red and white and pink and havent had any luck with that yet and I also hooked up the HB spinner to a locator battery and it works awsome it still wont spin the big decoys but it spins one of the smaller ones. and I am useing small spoons need to go to cabelas and pick up some muskie spoons. I also have add a skirt from a spinner bait and it drives the panfish crazy they start nipin at it witch I think will attract more pike.

merkman
I also hooked up the HB spinner to a locator battery and it works awsome it still wont spin the big decoys but it spins one of the smaller ones. I spin a 6" with no problem.I think the string is prob the issue with anything bigger. If you need more speed increase the voltage by hooking up bateries in series or use a 24 volt batery. That motor can handle 30VDC if you keep it at 30 or under you will be OK.Did the 9 Volt hold up?-Merk
Gordie
9 volt died right after the get to gator and wired it up to 12 volt.
