a lot of people under-estimate cold water pike - i would bet most people wouldn't tell the difference from walleyes if they didn't know it...

soaking them in salt water takes care of the slime and learning to take out their "y" bones makes for good eating

Bullheads??? i've never had them but they dont sound very good. after catching those slimy snot balls i never would have thought they were any good. are they seriously any good??

yeah I like them... clean them like a catfish. cut around the back of the head, peel off the skin, cut the head off, pull out the fins and cut the tail off. I usually slice them in half so the cook just like a panfish other wise they are thick and take longer. the meat come right off the bone after its cooked.

i don't keep many fish period i mainly fish for fun...i maybe keep a meal or two in a years period.

i love me some walleye, perch and pannies when i do eat fish though.

trout is good if you can cook them right otherwise they are pretty fishy tasting.
