ice cleats for pak boots

My wife and I both wear the big over sized arctic pak boots and have tried a few different ice cleats that claim they will fit pak boots but none of them seem to fit or for that matter stay on very well. Does anyone have any suggestions? We don't live near any big name sports outlet stores so we order most of our stuff online and it blows when we get something that doesn't work as advertised. Thx ahead of time.

Not sure if this would work or not. Would need a visual. I was thinking you could get some velcro, you can buy it with both the hook and loop, it's about 3' long in one pack. Could you use it around the cleats you bought? You could buy it in the color of the boot. Just a thought. Diana

I had the same problem and found XXL stabilicers on line after a sugestion from Munchy71 last year and love them! I wear a size 12 Ice King and they fit very well.A buddy wears a size 13 Sascatuwan (SP)and he likes them.

I use "Artic Spurs" and haven't found a better cleat for my use. Will fit any size boot. Do a search for them. Thorne Br

I'll second the Stabilicers. I've had mine for 2 years and had some before that that are MIA but those I used for almost 4 years.

BTW, I wear a size 10 La Crosse Iceman boots and the XL fits them great.

Stabilicers, are the only way to go. Google them and you can order them right from the manufacturer, they would be able to size them correctly for you.

I screwed #8 X 3/8 inch sheet metal screws in all the knobbys on my Rocky Blizzard Stalkers. Best thing I ever did. Works great.

Ya I put self tapping hex nut screws in my old ice kings. I wear a size 15 Ice King so I cant find a cleat that fits. I use these for 1st ice and once we get enough snow I use my newer pair of Ice KIngs. Works great but dont walk on your wifes new flooring with them on.

I have one more question about the stabilicers. Do you guys use the heavy duty or the lite ones?

I would go with the heavy duty ones.

Mine are the heavy duty ones! Kind of pricey but seem to be well constructed.This is only my second year with them but all good and no bad so far!

Northlander! Size 15 ouch! I though my size 12 Ice kings were huge!

There used to be a guy here on FM that made Ice cleats, I have two pairs, they're great. He custom made a bigger pair for me to fit my Ice Kings.
