merkman
How can the water melt a block that fast but not the bottom of the ice? And if heat rises why isn't the ice at the bottom of the lake?

JoeTC
I make my hole with my auger so it's real easy to grab onto so I just pull it out by hand. Neoprene gloves are nice to have for this. Otherwise look on [YouNeedAuthorization] for ice tongs...there are a ton of them and they go cheap. Shipping can get spendy though.Joe
