SevenTine Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 I like to push the shank of the treble hook up from the belly out the back and then hook to the swivel. Just make sure you use a small spinner blade so your legal. Do this with ciscos up north too. Seem to get a better hook up then just throught the back with just one of the barbs. nater Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 I picked up some smelt to put out on tip-ups over the weekend and found that these float. Is that normal? I rigged up two tip-ups and had a heck of a time trying to figure out how to get them to look natural. Have you guys experiences this? Any suggestions would be great!
