Ceiling fans in the wheel house

Does anyone use a ceiling fan to help keep the holes open when leaving the house on the lake heated?

Not enough head room in mine - I have an 8" stainless steel fan mounted to the wall. I also have a delay switch to save on the battery and a rheostat switch to adjust the speed.

My friends and I have a skid house on Mille Lacs. We have a 110v ceiling fan. It works well to circulate the heat but we run it off a trolling motor battery and 12v inverter and it uses a LOT of juice. Maybe 12 hours out of a fully charged battery.

If I were to replace it I would get the 12v ceiling fan from fish house supply. I'm acutally thinking about trying to replace the 110v motor with a 12v motor.

FYI I saw a 12 Volt 8" oscillating fan at Fleet Farm for about $15 that might help.

thinking about the fan from fish house supply....got to have the head room but other than that how well do they work?

I have 4 12volt pancake computer fans, very quiet, low power draw.
