How to repaint front sight?

I lost the factory bright red paint on my front sight yesterday. Its a Williams brand sight on my muzzleloader. Hate to replace it and go thru all the sight in stuff. It appears to be brass where the paint was. What is the best way to repaint (prep, etc.) and what paint should I use? The factory paint job lasted 12 years.

I was going to say the same thing.. Probably fingernail polish.

i've used paint for making your own lures/jig heads lot of bright colors to choose from i used the glow in the dark on my front sight

I used some glow in the dark paint for my sight, but it didn't last long from putting the gun in and out of the case. it seemed to chip off.

try and see if you can find a flouresent fish lure paint or a bright nail polish
