HDMI Cable?

Am I missing out if I don't have a HDMI cable running from my cable box to my HDTV? Right now, I think I just have a coax cable hooked up. Will the picture be better if I switch?

Does your cable box have an HDMI port and/or are you receiving HD service.

Yes, it has a HDMI port. I am not subscribed to the added HD package. However, sometimes when I hit 'info' for a channel it will say that it's in HD. Like football on Sundays and certain other shows.

By all means yes, you should get an HDMI cable or at least a set of component cables. Even if you don't subscribe to an HD package you should be able to pick up the broadcast stations.

Over Coax, yes. Over component cables? Probably not noticeable. The nice thing about HDMI cables is they make a lot less of a rats nest than component cables.
