McGurk
Man, it was like a Widmore Family reunion tonight! Good episode, and left me hungry for more! BTW: Did you recognize the driver? I did!
mrklean
i missed it i gotta watch it online sometime soon
pinkfloyd4ever
Anytime its got him, brotha, its good. I didn't catch who the driver was, I suppose I should have but didn't. The Charlie references were cool. I still lean that Jacob is the good, but ya, that could be the ultimate capper to the show that Jacob was the evil one. McGurk
I'll say this: his role on the sideways flash was much larger than his earlier one. I think his name was George Minkowski, and he was on the freighter suffering the same spontaneous time flash issue that Desmond was before he cacked. It freaked Desmond out and motivated him to find his constant (Penny). Basically he just layed there looking pretty rough the whole time. mrklean
that was a good one, intersting showing the flashbacks, do they now have all the main people done with for the flashbacks?
pinkfloyd4ever
would have never put that one together Quint, thanks.Michael returns next week? Survived after being next to 400lbs of C4 when it exploded, the island isn't done with him either huh?
mrklean
thats who i forgot about walt and michael havent heard from them in awhile somethings gotta happen with them they havent been in any of the flashbacks.
McGurk
Methinks its going to be a farewell episode for a lot of people next week, as it looks to be Hurley-centric. All of the dead people that they'll have a hard time fitting in elsewhere can easily be brought in with Hurley's ghost whisperer "gift." It seems like they write a part for them on the show to "take a bow" with.
mrklean
i was watching a few shows and they were saying that the final episode script hasnt even been given to the cast yet, they are trying to keep it that secret that they were making fake scripts incase one leaked. Its like fort knox on the set of LOST
pinkfloyd4ever
what a show! Does Desmond's experiment allow him to recognize/intervene in the sideways flash to get all back home? Closing with getting Locke to have to be saved by Doc Jack? Great show!
McGurk
Sideways world is getting prety interesting after all. Although, I don't really like SW Desmond's newfound impish nature and goofy "knowing" looks. Too smug. We're making headway though! Things are moving right along. Didn't see the well thing coming until it happened!
mrklean
i couldnt believe at the end when desmond ran locke over, i thought the show was a little slow to start but still good
pinkfloyd4ever
Yes I thought Brotha was going to speak with Locke until he revved the engine of course, still think the island needs him to make a SW flash Locke/Shepard connection to help with the island. What about Richard now? If Jacob's soldiers are trying to communicate with MIB, will Richard cause an initial foiling of a truce/chance for all to leave the island? McGurk
I think Richard Alpert is a goner now that we know his story. I'm not sure about Miles, but I'm pretty sure somehow Ben survives...It's not that Richard can't die, it's that he can't commit suicide. McGurk
It's all coming together... in both worlds. I'm curious as to how Desmond gets Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, and Jack to trigger their island memories. It takes a huge shift in their normal lives to do it.
mrklean
once again i missed last night so i have to catch up
pinkfloyd4ever
Great show, the SW connection between Sun and Locke at the hospital had me head scratching, but probably make sense in a later show. I was trying to piece together how she would recognize Locke. Clearly Sayid didn't kill Desmond. I am thinking that Quint is on to something, with his theory that maybe the MIB is the side of good, when he told Jack that he used Christian's body to lead them to water. MedicineMan
I HIGHLY doubt that Flocke/MIB/Smokey is on the good side. That fact that he wanted Desmond dead pretty much makes him bad.
mrklean
what i didnt get was Locke let the Syiad die?? But why Clair was outside with Locke so they were safe but they let him die.
pinkfloyd4ever
That was a cool episode, the Kwan's farewell was powerful. Guess MIB is more on the evil side and using the group to get off the island than will have no use for them. Next week preview seemed more on the history between Jacob and MIB. I am not sure if I saw this right, but Jack did bring Pilot dude out of the sub too didn't he? At the end though it just seemed to me Sawyer, Jack, Kate, Hurley. We're not going to guam are we? McGurk
While I personally think that the MIB is a baddie, it still makes one wonder if that is the simple answer that they want us to be drawn to, and when has LOST ever been a simple show? It would make for a great "Hoe Lee Carp" moment if it turned out that Jacob was the baddie all along. Not disappointed that the Kwons are gone from the island, but I'll miss Sayid. Good redemption moment for him, but why didn't he just close one of the doors he had to run through after throwing it as far as possible. Plus his "You'vegottostophimDesmondisthekeyand he'sstuckinawellStophimJack" was priceless.Kate: Gunshot wound mode. Jack: Island Mission mode. Sawyer: Whipped pup mode. Hurley: Crying Wildabeast mode. But what I want to know is: WHERE'S FRANK? DEAD??? Probably. RIP Burt Reynolds.
mrklean
how many more episodes left?
McGurk
Technically- 4 episodes but 4 1/2 hours of new material, shown on 3 nights. You have ep. 6-15 "Across the Sea" (1 hour), ep. 6-16 (1 Hour), and the finale night containing ep. 6-17 (1 hour) and 6-18 (1 1/2 hours, immediately following). They recently added the extra 1/2 hour to the finale (2 1/2 hours total of LOST that night), followed by a series recap (1 hour), and then followed by a Jimmy Kimmel Live LOST special. Lotsa lotsa LOST that night!
MedicineMan
I think it's safe to say at this point that Flocke is evil. Carlton Cuse even says that Flocke is evil in a recent interview. Why was it so important for Lost to prove that it can be downright homicidal during its last season? To establish once and for all that the Locke-ness Monster is the true villain of season 6 and quite possibly all of Lost. “There is no ambiguity,” says Cuse. “He is evil and he has to be stopped.”
pinkfloyd4ever
Sunday LOST finale will close it all up huh?Funny how none of us recall if Frank made it to Guam or not, I seem to think that Jack grabbed him but not sure.MIB twist to be good? Gonna go if he is good then the survivors are bad??? Can't work out that way I think. Next weeks Jacob/MIB story should tell it all
