The birds were really moving today, up and down the river. Good shoot had by the hunters in my group. Coulda, woulda, shoulda had a limit... there is always tomorrow.

I was just west of st.cloud and see a few goldies swimming around.

There were goldies on my slough last week but now it's froze. Haven't seen many on the sauk river yet but I imagine some of the bigger lakes have some on them.

Outside of Chanhassen this mornin lakes were iced over n I seen another flock of about 30 Tundra swans. Is it coming to an end?

It will only get better now if you are hunting rivers and available open water.

Come and gone.....

unless your hunting an area that has a concentration of birds, and as of now that would comprise about 1/1000th of one percent of MN.

The rivers around some of the metro areas will continue to load up with Park Ducks as they get frozen out of their usual haunts.
