When do you guys all start to use doe pee or golden estrous type lures? I have used some all season scents a couple times this year w/ the bow. But do any of you have a "golden" rule that you use during the deer season? never pre rut, always post rut, every time your in the woods???

The end of oct-most of novemer i use estrous scents, if your gun hunting its a must i think, helps mask scent and also can help attract bucks

i use more of it mid oct on but more of a cover scent to try and cover any left over scent that I might have. Instead of being interested in my smell smells something he likes.

For me simply every time I go out, if a new spot place some, returning to a previous spot re-apply it.
