buck 037
One of my boys took his second buck with the bow tonight. Big 10pt. inside spread 20in. had him take stand im going to use slug hunting. We have seen this buck many times before he took a shot at him two weeks ago when we had him pretty well patterned, but he missed him. He was pretty bummed but i pumped him up again and it paid off. The rut is just getting gone and the bucks have kinda thru any real rountine to the wind. He said he made a good hit on him so we gave him 1.5hours then started after him found him after about 150yds.I had to keep after him to slow down he was pretty excited Had a blood trail a blind man could follow. Neighbor_guy
10/31 is my FAVORITE day of the season to hunt. I have killed more deer on or one day either side of Halloween than any other day of the year.Congrats, way to stay after it and not get discoraged. fishinmajishin
Two shots at a big boy within 2 weeks is amazing to me. I'd thought he'd be gone after a first encounter. Congrats!
