Quick Detach Windshield

Anybody know of a quality, detachable windshield? My dad has a Sportsman with the Lock n Ride windshield and it's extremely easy to get on and off, makes it nice for trailer travel. Problem is, I have a Honda Rincon, so I need something similar. I saw one at Honda House in St. Cloud that I think would work, but I dont' know what the quality is like. Any suggestions?

Stay away from Slipstreamer, unless they've changed something. I have one for my Kingquad and it is constantly coming off!

Search for a Cobra ATV windshield. It was original designed by Sportech. Not a "quick release" windshield but the best I've ever used.

Cobra or Sportech is an excellent windshied, but if the Vinson is anything like the Kingquad you will have a heck of a time trying to install it.The handlebars on the Kingquad are so full of wires and mounts I could not manage to get the "universal" Cobra on them. I have a Slipstreamer now which is a quick detach, but it is a P.O.S. IMO.

I may have to buy a cheaper windshield and just fab up some sort of quick release with wingnuts or something.

Look into a Kimpex windshield. If I remember correctly, they make a quick detach that looked decent. I have Kimpex bumpers and they seem to make a good product.

Where would I look for one Dennis Kirk, Bob's Cycle? Also the Vinson has lot's of cables and mounts on the handle bars. I seen some at cabelas are they any good? Thanks for the help.

I have the Lock N Ride on my 05 Sportsman 400. Just put it on last week. Easy to put on and seems pretty rigid. Will report later as I run it through the mill.

I got the Cobra from Larsons cycle in Cambridge.Not sure if Dennis Kirk carries them?

Try Shade Tree in Big Lake. They have several different brands. You can look at them and decide which one.
