mnwild
Does anyone remember back in the day the North Stars had cheerleaders at the Met Center they were called the Electric Stars?? They were very nice looking. Now thats something the Wild should look into.
echotrail
I remember at the Met Center a guy who wore his North Stars jersey and cutoff jean shorts. He had long blond stringy hair and would march around beating on a small but loud drum.
WittleWaldo
looks like a tweeked out chipmunk. What's with that smile?A black eye and a few missing teeth would make a much needed improvement
Hockey Guy
Nordy is aimed to entertain children 2-10 years old. It has been proven that children like to go to games where a mascot is present. That means adults can go and bring there kids. More interest in the games keeps ticket prices high and sells more concessions. More kids means more sales in the gift shop. I'm not a big fan of a mascot in good hockey market either, but to anyone that thinks it's a bad idea, think again. Nordy will be visiting your kids schools and daycares to generate interest in the Wild just like TC Bear does for the Twins. Nordy is a brilliant business move by the new owner. And... The mullet makes me laugh!
8-Ball
I don't think I would go as far as calling it a brilliant business move-but it will bring $ in for the team..

IFallsRon
It's a marketing scam so the team can sell toys, shirts and maybe a furry touque.
