The best time of year!....lots of leaves from the maples and oaks are on the ground allready in my area!..I managed a few images before the storms approached this afternoon ...

mushrooms growing out of a living birch!....don't see that very often!

Love 'em, Jonny! Like Ken, I'm partial to mushroom shots. That tight grouping of the cluster from underneath is excellent. Last week's rains really brought them popping out all over. I imagine we'll see even more after yesterday's drowingings.

I'm looking to get out into the woods today and see how much color has been knocked down by the storms.
