I'm moving past the anti-man phase (it was a stubborn ex)...men are too easy to poke fun at any ways. smile But still, I have waxing skills should they ever be needed :P. Any other people wanna join the muskie fishing circus? We just need someone who thinks they talk to fish or something and it would be a well-rounded cast smile. Hahahahahaha.

Way to much effort to change now. We can't afford it anyway. Plus then you have to break in a new one, and that takes time.

I just don't what to have to break someone in period, and your right, my wife DOES NOT monitor this site.

I'm really not that wild, but went fishing on the river and all I was able to catch was a little fishy that jumped onto shore frown. I tried a pink jig, it didn't work frown. I can't wait for this muskie fishing gone wild freak show thing next summer. Rebel, do you ice fish?

MNGirl, you say you cant wait for this muskie fishing gone wild thingy next summer, I can say that others cant wait for the pictures/video of that LOL

Yes I do ice fish when I can... I've started last year... and when Im not splurging on Muskie stuffs (shows happen when there are still snow), I try to buy some ice fishing stuff... still an amateur beginner when it comes to that...

Break some one new in? Nah... just take the one thats already broken in... just need to find him/her... LOL

Well, if you're ever looking for an ice fishing partner let me know. I do funny things like get ice houses blown into me and get my leg stuck into holes wearing only jeans. We could start a trailer for the summer show! smile

You know... you may regret saying that... you catch your first one, then addiction comes, then you'll be splurging into muskie tackle... theres no cure for this addition... you'll find yourself wanting to go out on the coldest day in November just to be able to catch one... I havent really experienced that yet... but I'll for sure in 2009... with my boat... I'll be out there whole lot... rain windy sun snow... just looking for those Muskies...

dang... I remember being a quarter century old... thats almost 7 years ago for me... sure doesnt help having a son who grows up so fast... Let me guess... you're a Sagittarius...

Handle... that depends on how bad you need to get away from her... but thank god for those women get-together thingy... and men get-together thingy... really... not a problem when you need a day or a weekend away...

Of course, I was joking. My wife loves to share the outdoors with me.

But, we both have our time "to get away" too.

The best advice someone gave me "To have a happy life together when married, you both need to understand one thing. Women change. Men do not change."

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
