This is why I appreciate going to lakes up north where there aren't any other boats around. Either that or getting on the lake early and getting off the lake early. 6am-12 on a metro lake during the weekend is actually not too bad

Jet skis and pleasure boaters get very anoying and show little respect at times. Casting alure towards them wouldnt be a bad idea...still the worst is ice fishing when your on fish and people come up and drill within 10 feet of you(not exagerating) that really gets me hot and bothered. But all is part of fishing these days i guess so i try to be civil

I am more and more everyday a converted bass angler from muskies. I build a bunch of musky rods during the year and still have not built my own for the year. Sure that will change but the bass on Leech are out of this world.

There must be a bass tournament on Leech this week or weekend because there were bass boats all over the place last weekend. I was headed to some thick bullrushes that usually holds a bunch of fish in it. Next thing I know a bass boat comes over puts his boat on top of the weeds and never fishes. Good thing there was a spot about the same 100 yards away that held as many fish. Wonder if they got upset watching me catch bass?
