Big news in the fishing Industry.. MarCum Sold.

Recommended Posts

The end of an Era and the beginning of a new. MarCum Tech was sold yesterday.

One of FishingMinnesotas longest partners in sponsorship was sold yesterday.

While I would like to thank Mr. Paul Thorne and his crew for designing some of the best icefishing and open water products on the market today, I also wish those with MarCum the best in whatever endeavors they decide to do from this point forward.

Nature Vision Inc of Brainerd MN and also a sponsor of FM has bought MarCum and plans to grow on the already great foothold MarCum has in the industry.

I would like to be the first to wish Nature Vision the best of luck building and growing MarCum tech in the future, taking underwater viewing and depth finders to the next level.

Yes it does but Im real excited to see what this will bring to the table. With all the mind power of those 2 companies combined we should have some real nice units coming our way by next winter.

How about a LX-10 with ability to read to 400' and a digital depth read out as well as all the goodies the 5 has now.

I cant wait to see what they come up with.

Very big news indeed!

Congratulations to Paul, as well as Duane, Ray, Jon, and all the other folks at Marcum for being what I and many others feel was the industry-leader in flasher technology these past years. I know you'll all get out fishing more now that all the long hours and hard work/effort have hopefully paid off. I wish you the very best!

I'm also excited to see such a strong company like Nature Vision take the line and grow it. Talk about a powerhouse in the industry! As sentimental as I am regarding the end of an era, I'm excited as ever to see what lies ahead.
