Night Bowfishing

Here is something I came across while surfing the DNRs HSOforum. The two lakes in Wright Co. this pretains to is Buffalo and Clearwater. Should help in the harvest of rouhg fish.

If you want to go the cheap route, get a couple spotlights from Cabelas and take turns with a buddy shining carp. Might not be as fast and furious as if you had a deck full of lights, but you'd still get to head out at night and whack some carp.

I was talking with someone and they riged up a way to mount the spotlight to the bow. then you would be able to run it by yourself.

I've heard alot about night bowfishing being good but why is this?? Are they just up shallow and easy to spot? More active, or less active making them easier targets? What's the skinny..

Whats the reason behind only being able to bowfish at night on some lakes and not all? I am going to be rigging the bow of my boat up with lights and have some fun at night within a week or two
