There were five of them sittin' in a tree on my way home from work tonight. Branches over most of 'em, but managed a couple of open ones. Better be plenty of beauty in the inside to make up for the outside!

Personally I am pleased to see one perching in a tree and not ripping into a rotting possum torso on the side of the road with some intestine dangling from it's beak.

We have them disgusting looking birds around here too. I've always been afraid that if I tried to take a photo of one, my lens would crack. Nice shots, I guess.
