New Reel, How much to spend?

I called Thorne Bros on the older stradics to see if they by chance had some leftovers as they were one of my fav. reels...But unfortunately they didn't. I do think I will try the new Saros instead.

I fish about a 120 days a year on average and only by moderately priced reels. 50-80$

There are some really quality reels in that range that don't break the bank.

the Okuma 30, Plueger President are my main reels because of price stainless bearing count and awesome drags. you will not be dissapointed in either of these.

I like to spend the hard earned cash on good rods though.

I bought the Saros yesterday and can't wait to here that drag screaming out. No buyers remorse here for spending $100 on a reel.
