Pair of Ring Necked Ducks

We had a family weekend at the hotel but on the way home today there were birds everywhere. Everyone was tired and crabby so I didn't get to stop, except once. Thee were a bunch of ring-necks in a ditch so I stopped and backed up. I only got one quick shot out the passenger window and this is it. I was real happy to come away with it. Ring Necks are my favorite and I've been working on getting a pair.

Thanks guys. I don't know how I managed to get the shot but I guess all the time I spend reading these forums helps me be more prepared. I didn't even have to think about what needed to be done, I just did it. I must be learning something. Who'd a thunk it!!
