Eskimo bench seat question

I have the Eskimo quick flip II deluxe with the bench seat. The back of the seat folds down and should fit in his truck fine. I have a Dodge Dakota Qaud Cab and it fits with a soft cover. If you have a full size bed you will have no problem

The Eskimo bench seat folds down in all models. It shouldn't be a problem for you.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, the Eskimo line of Fish Houses has been improved over last years models.

I'm impressed.

Northlander, you would absolutely love the Eskimo QuickFlip III. Plenty of room and head room too.

Rick, I was impressed with the Eskimo Quick Flip 3 also, for the money I think it is very nice. Do you know anybody who has a Eskimo? How are they liking them?, went to the show today (Sun.) and nobody had any left.---Thanks for your help.

Web, I like the new Eskimo so far. However it has not yet been field tested. The only concern I am going to have is protability. The unit is a bit heavier with the bench seat installed. Hopefully for early ice we don't get alot of snow and then later in the season I can just drive to the spots.

The III fits perfectly in the bed of my F-150 which is short bed. It is slightly heavier, making it a little tougher for one guy to move it in and out of the truck , but the amount of space inside is unbelievable. I'm a little over 6-1" and can almost stand straight up. They also offer a tow bar so once the ice is a little thicker, I'll be pulling it with my sled. I wouldn't see a problem stacking one on another of you needed to carry 2 in the back. As Rick mentions, the bench folds down for transporting.

I just got a Quickflip 3 and put a hitch on it. Used it at LOW this weekend and it pulled great. It's very roomy and at 78" high, I wanted something I could stand up in. For the price its a great house. We were in Canada on the Red River with 30mph gusts and had no problems keeping it warm and it didn't shake a whole bunch, I'm very happy with it.

My cousin picked up the QuikFlip II before we headed up to LOTW this past weekend. It performed flawlessly. Even with the wind howling like it was, it took about 2 minutes with the sunflower on high to warm it up enough for me to drop the Carharts and take care of business. Now, if I'd only remembered to bring out toilet paper. Where's a Vikings hat when you need one. HeHeHe

I fished out of my Fishtrap all weekend, so I can't tell you how the Eskimo fishes. Oh, and did I mention that we slaughtered the Walters and Snaugers?

Farve for President? Does he ice fish? I suppose if he did he'd have a Quickflip. Good to hear the news on the Eskimo stuff I bought the Barracuda auger 2 years ago and my buddies thought I was crazy...they're always using my Barracuda now...

I just got a Quickflip III as well. Looking to hit some early ice but noticed the unit is a bit on the heavy side so portability may be an issue. Have to get a hitch so my 3 wheeler can pull it.
Gonna put it together today after work and try out some metro ice this weekend can't wait. Having a family fish fry on New Year's so I'd better get fishing.

Well, after reading all this, I decided that I had to have a Quick Flip II. My wife, the woman who spends my paycheck, didn't think it was a good idea. I finally talked her into joining me inside to see what she thought. When the door was zipped and the windows closed, she thought it was cozy. Well, we started snuggling and fooling around and making a bit of noise. The up side is that she thinks its a good fish house. the down side is that we are permanently banned from Fleet Farm.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
