Who's planning on going out this week?

I plan to hopefully wet a line in the morning for an hour or so. Maybe get my 1st fish on the board, but I'm not expecting much.

I know one thing. The bite is really really light yet, so I've been taking my sucker rods out cattin. Long whippy rods that have incredibly soft tips and clicker reels. This early in the year I really doubt any of the fish will pull clicker, so bite detection via the rod tip is important.

Pending on the weather and if all this snow melts i might go to the minnesota river in jordan on thursday! i have to find a place to get bair first though...i havent found a place near my town that has suckers or night crawlers... best of luck to you if you go though!!! grin.gif

I would love to hit the river this weekend, but with all this new snow we got, it will either be really soggy on the banks (where i fish from) or still snowy. Plus I have other plans for the weekend. Hopefully next week though, as long as spring stays spring and quits relapsing into winter. mad.gif

We have all ready talked about it. KQ#1 said we got to hook with him some time.

Once the water warms up a little bite, we will bring you down to the channel hole.

I have heard in the last couple weeks, the channels have been biting up your way. A good buddy has been out with cut sucker at dark and been pulling good numbers of fish.

Henderson is not that much farther than NewUlm. Might be a posibility.. Still working on the outboard motor since yesterday.. I got only one cylender working????????? No a good deal... I got spark, I got gas, I got oil, I just dont have fireing in that cylender..???? sigh sigh..
