buzzsaw
I took the day off Friday to enjoy the sun and lack of wind. I went to one of my tried and true spots and came away with a few images. Common Merganser incoming. Then came the Scaup.

mountaindew
Mike, I see you're an "early bird" posting early this morning! So am I! Those are beautiful images! Sharp..very tight and nice! Especially liked the third picture of him "waterskiing" You always take brilliant pictures with bright colors on those ducks! I went out yesterday morning on this pond near Henderson, and I've got a couple of shots of the ducks. But it's on my laptop, and I'm using this morning on "office" computer at home right now. I need to get ready to go out to do another Job Sandblasting till this afternoon, so I will come back later on and post the pictures. Wonderful set Mike! buzzsaw
Thanks guys! Steve, not much open water here yet, but where there is, is where I set up in a blind.MD, yeppers, I have to get up early so I can do a few loads of laundry, the dishes and clean up the house a bit before I take off... or my wife maybe wouldn't be so leniant to my photography desires. Gotta roll, I'll check in this afternoon.

buzzsaw
Thanks guys! I must say that I went back to the same spot today and it was a bust! So I went scouting and found a location that was holding... Woodies, Ringneck, Bluebills, Red Breasted, Hooded & Common Mergansers, Pied Billed Grebe, Northern Shovellers (alot), Bufflehead, Goldeneye, Mallards, Blue Winged Teal, Kingfishers, Ruddys etc.... the only problem was that I hiked in far and without my blind.
