Effect of seining on lakes

Excellent info Sandmann, I can't recall if it's Mert's or not, I remember hearing that the hands changed for that lake a few year's ago, not definate on that, but there seems to be a little negativity between the two, the fall pull netted around 80,000 pounds and the second pull they got around 130,000 of carp and buffalo, the third pull was a miss, they hit a stump or two that was forze in the ice, ripped their nets and they lost their fish, felt bad for them, that's alot of hard work to have something like that happen,

ncl laker most of the guys I knew in the buisness would shy away from having a show done about them , I do know one guy though who it would be right up his alley to do something like that, but he's another story altogether. bigeye you could be very well right about the water changing hands as I don't keep in contact with these guys. most of these operations have been handed down from father to son. if you had to buy all the equipment to get into the buisness you would never make it. mert is actually just a nickname for the guy I was refering to. lot,s of interesting individuals in the buisness thats for sure.

Jeff Reidemann from Cambridge was the gentleman in charge of the crew doing the Lake Byllesby Cleanup. Their target is 1,000,000 pounds so far as I stated before the worked for 3 weeks and removed 250,000 pounds. Thanks Guys!
