Esox_Magnum
What musics on when you working the baits. Our boats 90% is Heavy Metal, gets us pumped and fish seem to like it. Pantera, Metalica, AC/DC ect gets our blood going.
polarsusd81
If I had tunes in da' boat, I would have to say it would probably be some classic rock or some good old Cash.

cjac
Obviously you're looking for the aggressive fish with that play list!! Here I was thinking this would be about casting to structure....I have a system in the boat, 4 speaker complete with subwoofer, but I think the sound waves may spook a fish off on a follow. Let's just say I don't want to turn a big follow off over some tunes. I even try to kill the trolling motor for that very reason on a follow..... Side point, that's the only thing I don't like about the Minn Kota remote controls, hard to keep a retrieve and hit a button on the remote at the same time. On the downtime though, it seems like a Sunday AM tradition to have the Dee Snyder House of Hair on! Lot of times I'm out too early and there's only talk radio on anyways.Stereo does come in handy when someone decides to get too close to me, a little thump thump usually gives them the hint and pushes them along! Esox_Magnum
I havent noticed the music to bother the fish, some guys belive that loud helps turn them on. I know several that crank it up loud trolling. They claim the bass draws them in?? Our music choice is our last hold of our youth LOL. I turn Grandpa this summer
cjac
I stand corrected! I love some tunes when trolling, it's boring enough as it is! Actually caught a couple fish mid-day this summer on a sunny weekend day while more or less out for a cruise with the Mrs!

Muskiefool
I'm not into the distractions of music, I didn't even put tunes in my new boat, I really enjoy the sound of no noise while fishing, unless it's a chat with who ever is in the boat with me, if I had to it would be Clutch, Misfits, Future Leaders of the World, Cash, RATM, etc, anything but Country I just cant do that. Chris Hate to change the subject, but...my theory on the trolling motor is that turning it off or changing speeds will more likely spook a following fish than just having the motor remain constant. It's only theory, I have no proof. But after having a following musky hit the trolling motor last fall while it's running, I'm now convinced that the trolling motor isn't going to spook them. Maybe it's time to rig up a big treble trailing the prop!Aaron
Rebel9921
Thank god Im deaf so I wouldnt have to worry about music... but I do know for sure that the vibration from the trolling motor can be strong enough for me to feel it all the way from front to back on a quiet calm lake... When the lake's full of waves... its hard to really feel the vibration... but can feel the waves thumping against the hull... and that feels more "louder" than the trolling motor yet people still are catching muskies on figure 8... so I guess that they're used to it... Aaron... now thats an idea... rig the trolling motor like a planer board... then do that drop-shot thing with a bulldawg to make sure that the lure doesnt tangle up in the props and see what happens... that way if a muskie hits the lure, you still can deattach the line from the trolling motor like you would with a planer and be able to land it... but is it legal??? not in MN since that rod would be considered "2nd line in water"... or am I wrong??? JRedig
I will probably be shunned....I like/listen to a lot of the stuff you guys listed. But for some reason whenever out fishing it ends up twanging with country on the radio.... Don't ban me!! :-)

RuKiddingMe
Tough to beat Disturb to get me ready to go (gets the juices flowing like nothing else), if I'm meeting my buddy at the launch It's Disturbed or the KQ morning show on the early drive. Also Megadeth's latest album Untied Abominations could quite possibly be the best album released in the last five years. If you have heard it CHECK IT OUT. Totally worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then again Megadeth just plain rocks new or old. Can't forget:ToolKorn (pre 2000)Limp Bizkit (pre 2000)Def TonesFear FactoryStatic XHED PEHenry RollinsBeastie BoysAnd arguably my favorite ever 3rd Eye Blind - musically perfect.along withTonicSaves the dayDrop Kick Murphy'sNew found glorybouncing soulsMan this could turn out being one incredibly HUGE list.Thank god for MP3 players.Anyone wants to talk music I'M ALWAYS GAME.RU
10,000 Casts
If there is a Ballgame on I will listen to that, if not it will be the sweet sound of silence or sometimes a little country off the radio. In all honesty, I don't own a cd...It sounds like some of you guys like to get pumped out there. Sweet, whatever floats your boat!

The boat doesn't have a radio but we have a small one and an inverter we use that works out for the games. Otherwise just chat it up with whoever else is in the boat.
