well i just went out and picked me up a marcum vx-1 and i was wondering how long it takes to charge up the battery, it had some juice right outta the box and fired up nicley, but i was wondering how to tell when its fully charged and if it will hurt the battery if its left on the charger for and extended period of time like overnite, there doesnt seem to be any kind of charge indacater on the unit or the wall charger and i dont wanna fry the thing by leaving it overnight, i read through the owners manual and all it really said was that it was good to charge it after every use, anyways if any of you guys have experiance with this unit some info would be greatly appreaciated, thanks

From my experience they are usually at least 95& from the factory, never have I had to top off a MarCum battery.

Back to your charging question...

It' s a 2-1 ratio so fish 2 hours then charge 1 hour.. Sorry it's not in the manual...
