Fish House Door Question

This prob has just happened this year. Last year it wasnt a prob. Well my door flies open about a foot wide driving down the road. I adjusted my metal pice on the frame of the door because it was bent from use, but it still happens. I dont have a dead bolt but I would think that would solve the prob. Does every one have deads with the reg handle any way?

Can't you just lock the door?

Try screwing a piece of wood with a loose screw so you can turn it to keep it closed! Simple for travel, and you can take it off when you get there!

Yes thats what I thought then when I checked it was locked. Wood pice would work good.

put a deadbolt on it im suprised it didnt swing open from the start mine does.

If the house's wall framing was srewed togther tight, your door should stay closed.

I know Ice castle has problems with some of there doors popping open because there framing is all stapled, not screwed.

Sounds like you will need to add a deadbolt to solve the problem.

I put a hasp on mine and put a padlock on it. Then it can't go any where when driving and you get extra security if you leave it on the lake
