Accessing old information? Reports?

Why is it that you cannot go back like you used to be able to and see old posts from years back. I feel that a lot of useful information is now lost.. I liked it because a person could see possibly where fish were caught in years past to give a person a blindsite when trying new lakes. Any imput or help accessing this info would be great.

was thinking the same! In the middle of a camper conversion and havent been able to use all the advice/experience that is on this site. thats a shame. hopefully thers's a remedy!?

Use the search feature and that should get you back into the past posts.

You can go way back into the archives still. Only thing is you got to do it in 2 month chunks on each individual search.

Got to set date range just right. with something like from 15 months, to 17 months. Out side of that it looks about the same though I have'nt had a chance to use it or even see/use all the new features and additions on the site.

If you know who made the post or someone who was in on a particular post it may be easier and quicker to use that particular users "view posts" option to find the thread.

Also, if you click on the "pages" link at the top & bottom of the thread listing you can go back as far as December 2001 in the ice fishing forum... so the info's there, you just have to work a little harder to get there.

I cannot seem to figure it out either, I tried searching for very common words like Marcum & Vexilar with no luck.

What am I doing wrong?
