Winter Wonderland for the Birds?

Dark day but thought this one looked cool - feeding on berries.

Not the best background but a good look.

Today at -15 degrees I liked the colors and the frost on the geese - they probably didn't like it that much however.

The "Evil Eye".

Frozen spit on an Eagle not very majestic.

In the sun and out of the wind.

I agree with Steve. Pheasants in a tree! The eagle drool and geese, all are nice.

Oh, and excellent job in post processing on the crow. You've gotten to a good point there exposure wise, and the comp and pose are sweet. A quick lasso of the bird itself and a run through whatever noise reduction options you have would give that one the slight nudge it needs to put it completely over the top.

Those are very good images. I like every one of them. That crow is really cool. That is the first crow I've seen on the forum!

I like them all, especially the pheasants. It's just not a site you run across very often, if ever.

Thanks for the replys, Steve I'll have to play with the lassoing a little but I certianly see what you mean, FinnBay I think those berries were actually crabapples of some sort. I even saw a turkey up in one of those trees feeding the other day.
