We get orioles up at the cabin in Deer River too and use grape jelly. But our jelly bowls are UGLY. I think Jim could have some beauties but those orange bowls ruin his shots. Where do you get your great looking jelly holders?

They're actually just those outdoor candle holders you can buy in the summer. Sometimes they come with empty candle holders other times they are sold as citronella candle holders and we replace the citronella with clear candle holders that you can buy most anywhere (sometimes for $1).

The orioles are alot of fun to watch. Initially they were pretty shy. After awhile, if the jelly jars were empty, they would sit in the trees around us chattering away until we filled them. It got to be quite comical actually.
