mnfishingal
For those of you who enjoyed the oriole pic, here's a few others. Most are by the jelly feeders but it is a good mix of adult and young ones. Enjoy!

Lisa Almquist
We get orioles up at the cabin in Deer River too and use grape jelly. But our jelly bowls are UGLY. I think Jim could have some beauties but those orange bowls ruin his shots. Where do you get your great looking jelly holders?
finnbay
They are a colorful bird! Nicely done. Thank you!
mnfishingal
Lisa,They're actually just those outdoor candle holders you can buy in the summer. Sometimes they come with empty candle holders other times they are sold as citronella candle holders and we replace the citronella with clear candle holders that you can buy most anywhere (sometimes for $1). The orioles are alot of fun to watch. Initially they were pretty shy. After awhile, if the jelly jars were empty, they would sit in the trees around us chattering away until we filled them. It got to be quite comical actually.Anyway, good luck. Hope this helps.Denise

Jim Almquist
Very nice shots Denise and thanks for the ideas on how to spruce up my jelly holders. I love to hear them announce themselves before they actually sit down and eat.
