cjac
It was a nice show because of the small size, it gave us everyday Joes a great chance to spend some time talking to guys in the industry. That said, I think we didn't spend enough $$$ to cover the overhead of the show for an exbibitor paying for a booth, travel/lodging, etc. I was talking to Josh Roundsley at Thorne just before the Chicago show, and a TON of work goes into getting ready, he was tired even before hitting the road. Time and money is better spent on shows like Chicago, Milwaukee, Blaine, etc. Looking forward to the Blaine show, should be fun, and based on what I heard from Chicago, good deals, good times, and lots of new stuff. Some of the FMers will be there, RK with EA, KT Pro Edge has a new cork material he's excited about called Syncork, MuskieMojo has new baits for '08, and Steve Jonesi I believe as well. Good times come early March! Chris

Giant_Jackpot
It was nice to have the show in Medina to help break the winter muskie blues. Too bad it got canceledIf you are looking for something “muskie” to do before the Blaine show, check out the North Metro MI banquet. Pete Maina is the speaker. Muskiefool
It was in a sense the black sheep of MN Muskie shows if you know what I mean, I always had a good time there, especially 3 years ago, last year was slow,I hope another comes along, I think there's plenty of room for it in MN. Random guy
To bad, it was nice with the smaller size. A guy could actaully talk with some of the companies and not get run over.
minnesotamusky
Here's a email that I received from the guy that runs the show. Maybe it will be back next year......I hope.Todd,Sorry, there will be no shows this winter. The shows were in the processes of being sold to a group that was going to incorporate them with a walleye show, but at the last minute they ended up losing their venue and backed out of the deal for 2008 and because we thought they were going to buy the shows we didn't resign with our venue for 2008. So hopefully, we will be back in 2009 either combined with the walleye show, or as we were before.
