so you are trying to tell me that the ice is going to leave the lakes? yeah right, the next thing you will try to tell me is that they make "magic" cameras that let you see what is going on underneath the ice.....

by the time spring arrives, and it finally warms up, we will already have 4 feet of ice, so I would think by november it will finally retreat, but form again that evening for the up and coming winter

According to the weather guys and girls we're lookin' ahead at a really warm and very dry summer. I'm bettin' it'll be gone down here by mid April. Early May up north. Lake of the woods has got over four feet of ice in places.
