Is it prounced pill-e-ated or pie-lated,or another way?

I pronounce it the first way. Not sure whether both pronunciations are correct (like saying aunt either way) or if one is right and one wrong.

I've always pronounced it the first way, but according to Meriam Webster online, it's pronounced pie lee ated. So, instead of a pill, it's a pie.
